Max Baer wins fight in the 11th rd KO and becomes the new Heavyweight Champion of the World.
On the undercard, Cinderella Man--James Braddock fought John Corn Griffin. Braddock KO'd Griffin in the third round. The fight was held at Madison Square Garden Bowl, Long Island City.
