The piece was originally mailed to dealers for window display; the opposite "mailing" side features an 81/2X11" advertisement of Ty Cobb endorsing Louisville Slugger Bats.

1941 Cleveland Indians Program from game that ended Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak
which has since gone without serious challenge.
Here offered is a program issued at Cleveland's Municipal Stadium on the day that the streak was stopped. The center pages feature scoring grids with pre-printed lineups and rosters.

Babe Ruth check dated January 24, 1936, signed at bottom,"G.H. Ruth".
Signature rates 9 out of 10 and remains free of any cancellation marks.
The check itself has a 1 1/2" slit that runs diagonally from the word "Trust in the bank name to the very top of the "G" in Ruth's signature likely from a cancelled check punch stand.
